Q: Will the book be translated into other languages?
A: This has been discussed with the publishers, and it is something we would like to pursue.

A to a propos wcześniejszego postu:
Q: Did the book already come out in some form prior to 2010? I thought I saw something about that.
A: When The Complete Recordings project was begun, it was originally planned as a single year release. When we realized that each box set took the better part of a year to complete, the timetable was shifted considerably. So, when Fellowship was in production, The Music of the Lord of the Rings book was scheduled for the following year, thus it is referenced as such in the notes.
Shortly thereafter, the schedule was restructured, and the book was pegged for Fourth Quarter of 2008, which would have immediately followed The Complete Recordings series. In September 2008 the book was moved to Fourth Quarter 2009 in order for The Rarities Archives to properly complete its production. In 2009 we ran into the same legal complications that were tying up production on The Hobbit films. Once these complications were cleared, we set the book for 2010. It's been a long road!
Q: Is the book just the liner notes reproduced?
A: No, it's more than just that. See the next Q.
Q: Is the book just the Annotated Scores printed up?
A: Nope, much more than that. The book will contain all the information from The Complete Recordings liners and the Annotated Scores (though somewhat restructured), plus several sections of text never before released.
