Last night’s The Mandalorian and Grogu Super Bowl spot was directed by Jon Favreau to give “a nod to classic Big Game spots of years past” as explained by Lucasfilm’s marketing brand lead Ryan Stankevich & Disney’s Executive VP of Creative Marketing Jackson George.

Przynajmniej Disney mocno tu nie utopił, budżet produkcji po uldze podatkowej miał wynieść $166.4 mln, co czyni ten film najtańszym z serii odkąd ta trafiła w ręce Disneya.

Jakoś nie wierzę w te liczby. Disney nie raz chował za kotarą prawdziwe sumy, a kiedy do tego doliczy się promocję, to przepis na katastrofę gotowy.

Nie ma powodów by budżet był tu przesadnie rozpasany. Jakby nie było objętościowo to połączone 3 odcinki serialu, gdzie większość pewnie zrobili na tej ścianie LED specjalnie stworzonej do Mandaloriana. Nawet obsady nie ma tu bogatej, a film robi ta sama ekipa, także produkcja pewnie szła tu sprawnie.

Bardzo możliwe. Ten film byłby sukcesem i sam mocno bym na jego czekał, jakby powstał po drugim sezonie serialu, który świetnie skończył historię i film mógłby ruszyć dalej ze swoją. A tak dostaliśmy słaby 3 sezon, który zraził większość widzów i spóźnioną wiele lat premierę filmu, o który nikt tak naprawdę nie prosił.
