Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE

Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE
No właśnie, ja chyba ze 3-4 lata temu bez problemu kupiłem. Robią mały rzut od nowości, a potem co jakiś czas robią dodruki i stąd w newsach zapowiadających albumy fragment o poprzednich "back in stock".
Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE

Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE
Rambo II, Poltergeist II, Rambo III - trzy największe buble i bezużyteczne wznowienia od Intrady ostatniego okresu.

Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE

W czym?

Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE
Macie jakieś sugestie co do wtorkowego wypustu z Intradki ?Next week we'll have five CDs. That's right...five CDs, spread out across two albums. The first is a 3-CD set featuring an epic score to an early 80s production. It's a greatly expanded reissue of our previous straight LP issue. If you're only familiar with the score through that mid-rangey LP master only, then you're not familiar with the full depth of the score, as many of the larger orchestral portions weren't included. It's remixed from the original session masters to also offer a crisper and more detailed listen. The second is also an expansion of a mid-00s epic. Greatly expanded that is to 2-CDs. Although please note because some astute folks will notice that a couple of tracks from the original release were not available for licensing, but hopefully the wealth of new music makes up for it.

Re: INTRADA - PLANY WYDAWNICZE
TROY!!

Epic James Horner soundtrack gets expanded 2-CD premiere! Inspired by Homer’s The Iliad, vivid telling of events surrounding the Trojan War brings alive many iconic characters and images so well remembered even today: Helen Of Troy, “the face that launched a thousand ships”, Paris, Hector, that infamous Greek gift, the Trojan horse, Agamemnon, Priam, Menelaus, Odysseus… and towering above all, Achilles, immortal warrior born of Thetis and Peleus, invincible in battle save his one vulnerability: the heel. Prestigious actors bringing everything to life include Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Peter O’Toole, Sean Bean, Orlando Bloom, Garrett Hedlund, Brendan Gleeson, Brian Cox, Diane Kruger, Rose Byrne. David Benioff provides literate script, Wolfgang Petersen directs with visual flair. Customary for composer James Horner, the musical approach included massive (and lengthy!) action sequences, richly harmonized main themes plus moments of great subtlety, while remaining anchored with the emotional core of Petersen’s film, illuminating the fact that this was surely “Greek tragedy”, with characters on both sides of the legendary conflict worthy of our concern. That said, when the dust does settle, massive battle cues do take center stage if only for their sheer weight and rhythmic energy! Warner Sunset Reprise label issued album in 2004, containing 75 generous minutes of score, including “Remember” performed by Josh Groban with Tanja Tzarovska. Now a veritable treasure chest of previously unreleased music is available, including both the album and film versions of “Remember”. Highlights from the new material are voluminous but deserving a spotlight are: rousing “Never Hesitate” training scene between Achilles and beloved cousin Patroclus that introduces Achilles’ heroic theme in action fanfare fashion, complete nearly 11-minute version of powerful “The Myrmidons” for initial grand battle between Greeks and Trojans on the beaches of Troy, complete “Temple Fight” for scene that follows aforementioned battle, complete nearly 10-minute “Trojan Victory” cue, dramatic “Achilles Saves Briseis” sequence, intimate sequence “Hector Instructs Wife” prior to his emotional single combat with Achilles, complete 9-minute “The Wooden Horse” music, many others! Entire 118-minute 2-CD set presented in crisp stereo from digital scoring session mixes made by Simon Rhodes at Todd-AO Scoring in Studio City, California, all courtesy WaterTower Music and Warner Bros. Colorful booklet design by Kay Marshall, literate notes by John Takis. James Horner composes, conducts. Intrada Special Collection 2-CD set available while quantities and interest remain!
SHOGUN!

Sensational Maurice Jarre score from landmark TV event gets mammoth world premiere 3-CD set! Legendary 1980 12-hour mini-series airing for five consecutive nights on NBC grabbed gigantic ratings that were second only to Roots. Many celebrated names became attached to top-drawer production: Director Jerry London, screen writer/producer Eric Bercovici, cameraman Andrew Laszlo, actors Richard Chamberlain, Toshiro Mifune, narrator Orson Welles, famed author James Clavell - and - Oscar-winning composer Maurice Jarre. Set during 1600’s, Jarre launches sprawling journey with Englishman Blackthorne (Chamberlain) and crew of the Erasmus blown off course, landing in village of Anjiro, heading deep into Japan and dramatically different culture - Jarre leading all the way. Tensions, captivity, meeting with powerful Toranaga, romance, earthquake, elevation to rank of Samurai, hostage crisis, assassin attacks, many other events become part of Blackthorne’s experiences, with all of them highlighted by magnificent orchestral music! Ultimately two confrontational civilizations are joined in stirring manner and Jarre wraps his score in powerhouse fortissimo manner. Highlight abound throughout all five parts: exciting Main Title, initial meeting with Toranaga, richly beautiful love theme for Mariko, dramatic prison sequence, intense earthquake cue, many many more. Jarre scores epic work for equally large orchestra. Spotlight often goes to huge brass section with emphasis on stunning low trombone and tuba colors. Percussion flavors also abound. Jarre’s forte for ethnic scoring shines as well with sounds of the shamisen, biwa, koto, shakuhachi and taiko drums. In fact, every instrumental family of the symphony orchestra is given tour-de-force writing! RSO label issued a 38-minute LP of highlights with pinched sound in 1980 (subsequently premiered on CD by Intrada) but discovery of original 2” 16-track session masters allows world premiere new stereo mix of all five parts of mini-series, including all-new mastering of original album plus bumpers, source pieces and wealth of alternates - over 230 minutes of music in audio quality never-before-heard! Easily amongst the most ambitious scores by Maurice Jarre ever written. Recorded by Garry Ulmer over span of three months (late May - early August 1980) at Paramount Studios Recording Stage M in Hollywood. Entire 3-disc project produced by Lukas Kendall, John Takis. Latter offers informative liner notes on film production, scoring. Assistant to Maurice Jarre: Richard Bowden. Maurice Jarre composes, conducts. Intrada 3-CD set available while quantities and interest remain!
