Trochę to jak wróżenie z fusów. Zwłaszcza, że gościu typuje scory, które jeszcze nie są wydane (Interstellar, Unbroken). No ok, wiadomo, nominacja za muzykę jest bardziej za film niż za muzykę, ale mimo wszystko.
Fajnie, że Ida jest wszędzie wymieniana

Imitation Game zaczyna się ok. 1:50:00, pierwszy utwór nazywa się "The Imitation Game", drugi "Alan". Ta muzyka brzmi... inaczej Ale nic powalającego póki co.

Still, there is more to like here than dislike; Alexandre Desplat‘s score for example is hauntingly poetic – it ripples and quivers with tenderness and perfectly renders the leading man’s emotional state and journey. Also the shifting narrative from the days at Bletchley Park to the 1950s humdrum Manchester means the film never feels environmentally stagnant.

Alexandre Desplat really could have gone for something a little more low key with the score, which felt quite oppressive at times. The heavy, dramatic chords almost signal an unease that the story will not engage us without telling us which bits to be excited about.

Alexandre Desplat’s orchestral score is also of note. It, too, reflects the heart and mind dichotomy of the film, incorporating Morse code into the piano lines alongside sweeping emotional strings. It’s a poignant partner to the film’s narrative.
