Na ostatnim zdjęciu w tle - młodsza córeczka z mamusią. Wydaje mi się, że między młodszą córeczką a tatusiem nie ma tak oczywistego podobieństwa jak między starszą córeczką a tatusiem, ale i tak Desplat ma na tyle mocne rysy, że przekazał je obu córkom A na pewno karnację

No nie.. Na tym zdjęciu od czoła to córka zupełnie inaczej wygląda i bardziej Desplata przypomina jednak. Po matce ma tylko nos. A oczy to nie wiem po kim.

Mam Ci zacytować, co przewidywałeś w sprawie muzyki do Ghost Writera zanim się ukazała? Wiadomo, że jak ktoś nawet coś dosłyszy i raczy o tym wspomnieć, to napisze tylko 'amazing' Nikt się nie spodziewa głębokiej analizy. Martwi mnie tylko, że będziemy czekać na te filmy do sezonu oscarowego, no może Polański trochę się pospieszy i obejrzymy Carnage w październiku albo listopadzie (przynajmniej z Autorem Widmo się tak udało zrobić - był u nas na ekranach rekordowo szybko - tuż po Berlinale). Dystrybutorem Ides of March jest Kino Świat i film ma wejść dopiero w 2012 roku.

Yyy, a co niby przewidywałem Hej, to był rok 2010, ja wtedy miałem inny soundtrack w głowie od "Ghost Writera" i sobie nim głowy nie zawracałem, jakimiś przewidywaniami i spekulacjami

Jakbym ja funkcjonował tak jak Wawrzyniec, to przy siedmiu Desplatach rocznie niczym innym bym nie żył A jakoś udaje mi się też interesować z podobnym zaangażowaniem propozycjami innych kompozytorów

O muzyce jedno neutralne zdanie
Classy and professional throughout, the technical work gracefully holds all the threads together. Director of photography Phedon Papamichael works the cold, washed-out grays of Cincinnati into a quietly intense atmosphere piece, culminating in an electrifying nocturnal show-down between Stephen and Morris set, for no particular reason, in a restaurant kitchen. Alexandre Desplat’s evocative yet unprepossessing soundtrack follows suit.

Lensed in alternately dark and chilly tones by d.p. Phedon Papamichael and accompanied by Alexandre Desplat's brooding, busy score, the film has a polished sheen that conveys prestige and good taste yet never really approximates the lived-in chaos of the campaign trail. In one typical touch, a shot of Stephen silhouetted against a giant American flag is held a few beats too long, so that its irony registers less than its lack of subtlety. The protracted final sequence, intended to chill the viewer into sober reflection, merely induces a shrug.

The duel between these two ghost-men is resolved in a pleasingly terse, roundabout fashion that lends the film’s finale some genuine tang — though Clooney still can’t resist overcooking some circular ironies to the point where they aren’t ironic anymore, and Alexandre Desplat’s jittery, flute-heavy score and Phedon Papamichael’s over-underlit cinematography (Clooney’s evidently a more original stylist with a Robert Elswit by his side) crank the dramatics a little more eagerly than the script does.

So in answer to our earlier question, it’s not as accomplished and impassioned as “Good Night and Good Luck,” but unlike “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind,” it’s tonally assured, and unlike “Leatherheads,” it’s, well, watchable. Very watchable in fact—it moves along at a fair old clip, thanks to Stephen Mirrione‘s typically taut editing, and another fine, surprising score from Alexandre Desplat. This U.K. based writer is admittedly something of a U.S. politics junkie (we pretty much know “The West Wing” off by heart. All of it. Test us), but we had a blast. Whether wider audiences enjoy it as much remains to be seen (although we’re fairly sure that it’s early anointment as an Oscar front-runner will disappear quickly), but it at least happily confirms that Clooney the director is here to stay.
