Czas trwania z lekka długi. Tym bardziej jak Pemberton pójdzie w jazzowo-swingowe klimaty.

Czyli temp-traczek siadł jak złoto

Film też siadł w box-office, ale właśnie bez złota. Zresztą po zwiastunach do tej pory nie wiem o czym jest ten film? Poza tym, że mamy w nim atrakcyjnych ludzi w stylowych stronach.

Ten Amsterdam fatalny film. Nudny, nieangażujący z drętwymi dialogami. Prawie wyszedłem w połowie. Ilość gwiazd na metr kwadratowy miażdży głowę, ale co z tego.. A i sam Pemberton wydaje mi się ze ostatnio każdy jego kolejny score brzmi tak samo - ten sam jazzik.

Przerost formy nad treścią. Ilość gwiazd przytłacza. Stylowy szyk i nic więcej. Wtłoczona na siłę intryga nas nie wciąga. Aktorzy bawią się wypowiadanymi kwestiami i kostiumami. Reżyser zapomniał, że jest przecież widz po drugiej stronie. Kręci chyba dla siebie i swojej ekipy.
Muzyczne brzmienie na Desplata pewnie nieprzypadkowe. David O. Rusell sadził, że stworzy film w klimacie Wesa Andersona. Wszystko jest prawie idealnie, ale niestety zabrakło emocji i talentu twórcy. Finał oglądany na ziewaniu, a powinien być punkt kulminacyjnego zaskoczenia i rozwiązania całej tajemnicy.
Nawet uroda Margot Robbie nie rekompensuje czasu spędzonego podczas seansu.
Podoba mi się muzyka z napisów końcowych. Jako asystent kompozytora jest ponownie wymieniony Alex Gruz, czyli ktoś z rodziny reżyserki Natalii Korynckiej-Gruz (może jej syn?). Zachęcam Was do wysłuchania scoru do jej dokumentu "Simona", jeśli jeszcze nie słyszeliście. Brzmi bardzo pembertonowo.
