Tylko On, Williams John ;)
Tylko on, Elton John ;) ;)

Zajefajne infa od producenta Neila Bulka o nowych dwóch Bondach:

LALD:

The OST for "Live And Let Die" has never been re-built to match the 1973 album. Lukas did a terrific job in 2003 with the expanded release, but despite the album sequencing, it wasn't really the original soundtrack album. Let me explain. Several cues were shortened on the 1973 album that were presented at full length in 2003. Those tracks are:

Bond Meets Solitaire
Snakes Alive
Bond Drops In (a combo of "Bond Drops In" and "On The Train")
Sacrifice
James Bond Theme

And then there's "Baron Samedi's Dance Of Death." In the film they used take 6 while the 1973 album used a shortened version of take 7. On the 2003 album only take 6 is presented and in full, so again, the album sequencing was maintained but it wasn't quite the album.

"Sacrifice" as recorded has the same running time as the scene in the film, about 3:20. If you're talking about the minute or so of dance music prior to "Sacrifice" it wasn't on our tapes. However Bond's line, "Seems like the party's started" occurs during the opening of "Sacrifice."

The track "Fillet Of Soul – New Orleans / Live And Let Die / Fillet Of Soul – Harlem" on disc 1 and disc 2 (track 8 ) is from the stereo album master. The same master used on the original CD and 2003 reissue. BJ Arnau's performance differs slightly with the film performance, but for the most part it's the same.

When B. J. Arnau sings chorus, she sings in film specifically 'AAAAAh, say Live and let Diee!' when she repeats that line in chorus for the first time. That version was also available on the previous remastered CD release of Live and Let Die by Capitol, but when I check this song on LLL samples, both the album sample and alternate version sample sound the same when she sings that line - and it's not the version she sings in the film and which was available on Capitol release. Does the version of this song on CD1 here have a proper singing that verse by her?

You seem to be mistaken. In the sample for disc 2, track 8 she doesn't get to the chorus. The chorus is in the sample for the alternate from the quad album master and as you've noticed, it's different. That's what makes it an alternate.

We felt this was a perfect opportunity to not only make fresh new mixes in the spirit of the 1973 album but also go back to those original edits. George Martin knew a thing or two about making a successful record. Again, I hope you enjoy it.

OCTO:

The original album was included on CD2 for a number of reasons. Most importantly, it was produced by John Barry. Also, the mixes are different, and we felt they should be included. Additionally, there are a number of cues that are edited differently than they are in the film (and on disc one) and we wanted those represented. Those cues are:

009 Gets The Knife And Gobinda Attacks
Yo-Yo Fight And Death Of Vijay
The Palace Fight

Additionally, the album take of "The Chase Bomb Theme" differs from the take used in the film and as heard on disc one. The only place we could locate it was on the album master. These four album tracks total over 13 minutes of music, so they wouldn't have fit on disc 1.

La-La Land Records, Paramount Pictures and Columbia Records present the world premiere official release of renowned composer Harold Faltermeyer’s (FLETCH, BEVERLY HILLS COP, THE RUNNING MAN) original motion picture score to the iconic 1986 aerial blockbuster action/drama TOP GUN, starring Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis, and directed by Tony Scott. Composer Faltermeyer defined the 80’s film score pop-synth landscape with such legendary scores as BEVERLY HILLS COP and FLETCH only to re-define it further with TOP GUN, a propulsive and imaginative musical juggernaut that still inspires and influences film scores today – including the recent smash TOP GUN: MAVERICK.

Aside from two previously released tracks, this remastered and expanded deluxe 2-CD presentation marks the first time Faltermeyer’s TOP GUN score has been made officially available in any format! Disc One showcases the brilliant film score, along with bonus demo cues, and Disc Two presents songs from the film, including the #1 hits “Danger Zone,” performed by Kenny Loggins and the Oscar-Winning “Take My Breath Away,” performed by Berlin – both co-written and produced by the great Giorgio Moroder – as well as “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling,” performed by The Righteous Brothers and more, plus additional bonus tracks. Produced by for La-La Land Records by Dan Goldwasser, mastered by Doug Schwartz and approved by the composer, this limited edition of 5000 units includes exclusive, in-depth liner notes by writer Tim Greiving, with new interview quotes from Faltermeyer, and high-flyin’ art design by Goldwasser. Masakra :) Ten chujek Cruise wstrzymywał wydanie przez brak swojej akceptacji od końca 2017 roku.
Autor bookletu napisał, że tekst zrobił jesienią 2017 i miało za chwilę wyjść.
numer seryjny wydania sugeruje Black Friday 2018 - LaLa daje numery płyt chronologicznie, a wtedy takie numerki były.

Także to chyba najdłużej wydawany album w historii LaLi.
