Senior Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all — he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he's even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there's something not quite right — yet no one, including Charley’s mom (Toni Collette), seems to notice! After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charley comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he's telling the truth, Charley has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.

Joining the proceedings is composer Ramin Djawadi, currently enthralling television viewers with his score for the HBO series Game Of Thrones.

DreamWorks opens FRIGHT NIGHT nationwide on August 19.

Ramin Djawadi has signed on to score the new CBS series Person of Interest. The show is created by Christopher Nolan’s brother Jonathan (co-writer of The Dark Knight and The Prestige) and centers on a presumed dead former-CIA agent who teams up with a mysterious billionaire to prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante justice. J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (Lost) are producing alongside Greg Plageman (Cold Case) and David Semel (Heroes, No Ordinary Family) who also directed the pilot. The drama’s cast includes Michael Emerson (Lost), Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ), Taraji B. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Kevin Chapman (Brotherhood). Person of Interest is set to debut on September 22, 2011 and will be airing every Thursday night on CBS.
