Ehhh hejterzy... Popatrzcie co ten koleś już osiągnął. To raz. Dwa - wszystko o instrumentach jest prawdą, on w tym kawałku nie gra tylko na wiolonczeli. Trzy - nom do oskara jest b.prawdopodobny, tym bardziej że w tym roku konkurencji specjalnej nie ma. Cztery - ktoś jeszcze wchodzi na stopklatkę w ogóle? Przecież ten serwis od jakiegoś pół roku to typowy Pudelek, tylko że o filmach...

A co mnie interesuje, co on osiągnął (chodzi Ci o liczbę wyświetleń na youtube?), tutaj rozchodzi się o piosenkę samą w sobie. Jeżeli o instrumentach to prawda, to gość naprawdę osiągnął mistrzostwo - grał na aż dwóch instrumentach W tym na gitarce dwa akordy na krzyż... Z prawdopodobieństwa nominacji do Oscara nikt się nie nabija - ale skoro Finn nawet się nie załapał (a piosenka w jego wykonaniu była bardzo w stylu Akademii), to on tym bardziej nie ma szans.

A jeżeli ten news to nie ironia... szkoda gadać.

Finn się nie załapał bo to była kolaboracja a do tego wykorzystywała nie jego temat. I nie chodziło mi o liczbę wyświetleń na YT, ale na to jakie już ma nagrody na koncie i ile płyt sprzedał.

Nie pamiętam sytuacji, ale co z tego, że wykorzystywała nie jego temat, skoro oscarem nagradzają nie wokalistę, a właśnie twórców muzyki i słów? Chyba, że piosenka nie może się opierać na muzyce oryginalnej z danego filmu, ale to byłaby przesada.

I nie chodziło mi o liczbę wyświetleń na YT, ale na to jakie już ma nagrody na koncie i ile płyt sprzedał.

Liczba wyświetleń na YT i liczba sprzedanych płyt to taki sam wyznacznik, który nic nie mówi o POZIOMIE muzyki. A tym bardziej "prestiżowe" nagrody, które zdobył.

Tak jak mówi Danielos, nie ma co roztrząsać się nad tą piosenką. Co najwyżej pośmiać się z niektórych opiewających jej geniusz

(November 5, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA) – WaterTower Music today announced details of the soundtrack to “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), the second in a trilogy of films by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. The soundtrack will be released on December 10, 2013, three days before the December 13 release of the film, and will be available both digitally and as a 2 CD set. A Special Edition soundtrack, featuring twelve extended tracks, a bonus track, expanded liner notes and interactive sheet music will also be available. Fans will be able to preorder the album at both iTunes and Amazon on November 5.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features the music of Howard Shore, one of film music’s most respected, honored, and active composers and conductors. "I’m looking forward to introducing you to Smaug," exclaimed Shore, who previously worked with director Peter Jackson on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Jackson added, "Howard Shore's music soars and enriches way beyond its connection to our images, a unique sound like no other. He truly has created an epic musical world of his own."

Shore’s music for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy has been performed in numerous concerts internationally. In 2003 he conducted the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in the world premiere of The Lord of the Rings Symphony in Wellington, New Zealand. Since then, the work has been performed nearly 300 times by the world’s most prestigious orchestras, and has been the subject of a book, The Music of The Lord of the Rings Films: A Comprehensive Account of Howard Shore's Scores.

Howard Shore’s music for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy stands as his most towering achievement to date, garnering three Academy Awards® for his music for those films, two for Best Original Score, and one for Best Original Song. Shore has also won numerous other honors for his film work, including four Grammys and three Golden Globe Awards, the Career Achievement for Music Composition Award from the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, New York Chapter’s Recording Academy Honors, ASCAP’s Henry Mancini Award, the Frederick Loewe Award and the Max Steiner Award from the city of Vienna. no i to by było na tyle, co do rozszerzonej edycji dvd pierwszego filmu i dodatków o muzie - których nie ma

So I ordered the 5-disc Special Extended Edition of the first Hobbit movie. I was really looking forward to watch the appendices and the making of the movie, especially the portions related to Shore's music. Sadly, unlike the LOTR sets, the appendices for the Hobbit include next to NOTHING of the process behind Shore's music. I was expecting full features of post-production that include editing , sound effects, vfx , etc . None of that was included. Some of those things were mentioned in passing in some of the other featurettes. They had a 15min long video on 'Songs from the Hobbit' which features the Misty mountain , Blunt the knives ,etc. Doug Adams mention's Shore briefly but thats about it. 3 discs of extra features mostly about design/pre-production/shooting and the characters. While these discs are pretty interesting to watch, the fact they chose to not include anything about Shore and his music is bothersome. I'm so disappointed.

Jackson potraktował Shore'a po chamsku to i nie dziwota, że potem głupio mu było dawać dodatki o muzie, którą w połowie wywalił/zagłuszył.
