No ciekawe, to będzie jego pierwsza animacja od ponad 30 lat (pojedynczych kawałków w niektórych anime nie liczę).

Coś nowego. Sakamoto zajmie się muzyką do najnowszej krótkometrażówki (ok 35 min) Luci Guadagnino - w roli głównej Julianne Moore, tematyka dotykająca relacji bohaterki z matką. MacLachlanowi przypadł do gustu twin-peaksowy multitasking, więc tu powierzono mu wszystkie role męskie
Premiera planowana na któryś z tegorocznych festiwali filmowych.

na panelu na FMF w Pradze dyrektor naszego FMF opowiedział na pytanie z sali, kogo marzy by zaprosić na festiwal, że Sakamoto. Także pewnie prędzej czy później można się go spodziewać, o ile Ryu będzie zainteresowany w ogóle... Dyrektor praskiego, że chce Marnynelliego - także tam na pewno będzie jego monograficzny koncert, bo nawet agentka Daria była na tym panelu.

Z ostatnich wieści: Film Luci nosi tytuł "The Staggering Girl", premiera odbędzie się na festiwalu w Cannes. Dla Sakamoto to jeszcze nie koniec współpracy, gdyż otrzymał angaż w produkowanym przez niego filmie "Born to Be Murdered". Za kamerą stanie reżyser drugiej ekipy zeszłorocznej "Suspirii".

Zwiastun "Proxima", dramatu kosmicznego z Evą Green i Mattem Dillonem. Zbiera całkiem niezłe recenzje z Toronto, a Ryuichi nigdy wcześniej chyba nie robił muzy do tak z pozoru dalekosiężnego filmu, choć jak się okazuje, jest to bardziej przyziemne dzieło.

czekam, choć od sukcesu Grawitacji zaczyna być powoli przesyt filmów z laskami-atronautkami a angaż fakt, nietypowy, tym bardziej, że to francuski film. w takich przypadkach 99% to widzimisie reżysera, który po prostu marzył o takim nazwisku w swoim filmie i udało mu się je namówić. i ja to szanuję

Takie skrócone The Revenant stripped down version, eteryczne i minimalistyczne jak ma od lat w zwyczaju. Z highlightów na pewno świetne chóralne "Launch" i "Iceskating". Słychać odrobinę echa albumu async (utwór "solari" chociażby).
