Jukka Rintamaki o muzyce do Battlefield 3 pisze: In 2010 me and fellow composer Johan Skugge started composing the music for this game. We quite soon together with sound designer Stefan Strandberg decided on making a score that was made out of electronic music. At the time, wargames usually had huge symphonic string orchestra music (movie music) and we felt it didn’t match the game Dice we’re making. Battlefield 3 is a wargame set in the future, in landscapes with harsh concrete surroundings much of the time, having an urban feel to it even out in the desert. After spending much time playing and listening to other video games and movies we decided to do a minimalistic harsch, dark and cold electronic score. Me and Johan started working in the studio making music with old synthesizers and drum maschines. Sampling trash cans, plates, containers etc. ending up only using acoustic instruments for a couple of drum tracks. The result is a minimalistic and dark soundtrack and it felt it worked very well in the game. Sometimes so minimal that it’s mearly a part of the games enviroment sounds. Other times more epic, melodic and storytelling like the tracks “Solomon’s Theme”or “The Death of Vladimir”.

Jukka Rintamaki o muzyce do Battlefield 4 pisze:I and Johan Skugge wrote the music for Battlefield 4 in 2012-2013. We continued developing the sound we created in Battlefield 3, a synth driven minimalistic dark sound. But the sound designers on DICE also wanted to have a more oganic sound so we experimented with a few new instruments: cello, steel guitar and tuba. The most part of the music though was made by various old and new synths (Korg MS-20, Roland Juno-6, ESI Mopho Keyboard, ESI Evolver, ARP Avatar, Modular System etc.). But an instrument that ended up on a lot of the tracks is my steel guitar played with ebow through an Eventide Space Pedal. The sound is reminicent of organic strings but synthlike at the same time so it worked perfectly. For the Battlefield main theme we did two versions. Stutter Theme – that me and Johan made, and Warzaw Theme – remixed by Rami.

Świeżo? W porównaniu do poprzednich części raczej dość odtwórczo i bez tej samej magii. Plus album zdecydowanie za długi.Mystery pisze:ale przyjemnie i świeżo to grało

The Old City Leviatan - Atrium Carceri

No chyba jednak pełna czwórka.
