disco-polo też się świetnie sprzedaje - inaczej by tego nikt nie propagował - a mimo to nikt nie krzyczy o tym, jaka to dobra muzyka; poza tym w dzisiejszym świecie ludzie się byle gównem jarają i byle gówno hejtują, takie czasy

Po przesłuchaniu kilkukrotnym parę moich spostrzeżeń. Płyta za długa - główny zarzut. Momentami zbyt atmosferyczna i za delikatna. Słuchalnośc na poziomie Mr Robot. Poprawna praca, która jednak wydana na CD nie dostarcza aż takich wrażeń jak w serialu. W drugiej połowie sezonu było dynamiczniej, także jestem ciekawy drugiej płytki.

3/5 za CD Vol 1.

W tej chwili Vol 1 jest drugim najlepiej sprzedającym się albumem na świecie ze wszystkich kategorii muzyki na platformie iTunes Album zbiera świetne recenzje w mediach branżowych i potwierdzono już wydanie winyla.. wielki i niesamowity sukces Lakeshore Records!

Jedzmy gówno, miliony much nie mogą się mylić.

Jakby co, to duet kompozytorów wystąpi na krakowskim Unsound Festival i zagra muzykę z serialu.

No i drugi vol wcale nie jest lepsiejszy. Przez ok 40 minut dalej to samo i dopiero później się rozkręca w kierunku eksperymentów a la Goldsmith w Alien Nation. No ale przekonacie się niedługo sami.

No i uzupełniając tracklistę podam total time: 73:27

zedytowałem trakliste o czasy - też jest sporo dłuższych utworów, a < 60 sek ledwo z 5.

Vol 2 w słuchaniu jest przystępniejszy, więcej instrumentów Ocena taka jak jedynki, powtarzam to co napisałem tam.

ale w sumie skarży się na to co wielu uczonych w muzyce filmowej mówi:

The problem, really, is that Dixon and Stein are not dramatic composers; they haven’t got the experience or sensibility necessary to take their perfect sound design, and craft it into an actual score. The storytelling narrative of the music in Stranger Things is virtually zero – yet again, as I have written far too many times before this year, it’s all surface sheen, with no depth. This is what sets those 1980s composers apart from people like Dixon and Stein. Harold Faltermeyer knew how to write a memorable theme, as in Beverly Hills Cop. Brad Fiedel understood the concept of recurring thematic ideas that drive the dramatic arc of a story, as in The Terminator. Jack Nitzsche knew how to subtly alter the tone of a single theme to convey different emotions, as in Starman. Dixon and Stein do not appear to have grasped any of this.

When you compare it to some of the other 80s throwback synth scores written this year – Cliff Martinez’s Neon Demon, Matthew Margeson’s Eddie the Eagle, Rob Simonsen’s Nerve, the scores for Swiss Army Man and Hunt for the Wilderpeople, for example – its deficiencies are thrown into sharp relief, and I can’t help but wonder what a better dramatic composer or two would have done with a similar stylistic approach.
